The Interplay of Applied Mathematics and Real Data

This one day conference is dedicated to the newly created SIAM Student Chapter at UBC, Vancouver, Canada.

The event aims to bring together mathematicians, industry researchers, and students to exchange ideas, present research, and foster collaborations within the mathematical community.

The conference will feature a series of 20-minute talks by senior researchers and 10-minute talks by junior researchers. The purpose of these presentations is to provide an overview and highlight the motivation behind the methods and approaches used to tackle problems arising from real-world applications.
